Yuusha, Aruiwa Bakemono to Yobareta Shoujo

Synopsis - Volume 1

There once was a girl called "Hero," and admired. Then was called a "Monster," and feared.

The girls feet would not stop until every last demon was exterminated. To Kill and to kill and to kill — that is the fate of a hero. Even with the loss of her past and the gaining of new companions, the girl's eyes continued pursuing the demons. And all for one reason.

    "Because I'm a hero."

Long ago, there was a hero who once had three companions, and now as well.

Just what is it that a hero fights for? For the peace of the world, for their beloved friends, or for themselves?

When the stench of rot drifted through the air, the girl would rise up and take up her sword. Even if her blood ran dry, her flesh was torn away and her body rotted away, she would stand up again and again and fight forever — as that is the mission of a hero.

To preserve the future of her friends, and fulfill her mission, the hero faces her final war against the demons.

"Because I want to be me."

    1. Yep, they just compacted the web novel chapters into 11 chapters for the light novel, and it has a lot of new content that wasn't in the web novel.

    2. When will the last chapter cone out? Im really eager to see what will happen in the end, but the beginning of the story start with katarina and her step mother which i suspect to be hero and katarina step sister are matari, edel and ulurire as in the girl ate death god, katarina met edel in the last chapter, i hope hero can live as a normal immortal human being with her precious comrades

  2. Thank you for translating this novel, I'm in love with this work, honestly I think the autor Nanasawa Matari is simply amazing, and this is on par with my favorite work ( The Girl Who Ate a Death God ). Thank you. I don't know how to put it into words, but your translation is really good, especially because I can see you manage to keep the autors thought and feelings throgh the scenes. If you ever feel like translating The Girl Who Fell From The Polar Star, it will be a pleasure to read your translation of that work too. And again, thank you for the awesome translation, I can't put into words how much I appreciate it, I had a great time reading and re-reading this, I can't wait for the last chapper. ty <3
